My Father and My God,
Thank You for who You are, what You have done, and what You continue to do!
Thank You for upholding all things by the Word of Your power.
For it’s in You that I live and move and have my being!
Thank You that You are sovereign over everything in this world! You govern all things for Your glory!
Thank You for redemption, forgiveness, justification, sanctification, and glorification!
Thank You for Jesus, my Redeemer!
Thank You for the Holy Spirit, my Sanctifier!
Thank You for Your holy Word, the very means the Holy Spirit uses to conform believers into Christ’s image!
Thank You, Father, for Your forgiveness!
Thank You that when I confess my sins to You that You are faithful and just to forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness!
Thank you that You no longer hold my sins against me but cast them as far as the East is from the West.
Never do you bring those sins up against me again for they are all washed away by Christ’s blood!
Thank You, Lord, for Your kindness! You are long-suffering! You are merciful! You are gracious! Yet You are just, holy, and righteous!
O God: Father, Son, Holy Spirit: I love You!
You know that I love You for You are omniscient. You have implanted Your love in my heart!
Sadly, my love for You and for others is not what it ought to be. Far from it!!
I fail to love You with my whole heart! I fail miserably every day! I fail in thought, word, and deed!
I feel the sinful pull in my heart towards unrighteousness, and yet I realize the work of the Holy Spirit who daily keeps me on the straight and narrow path that leads to life!
Holy Spirit, without You I would fall flat on my face! I would utterly fail! As a washed pig returns to the mud, and a dog returns to lick its vomit, so I would run headlong into the way of sin unless You keep me in the way of truth and assure my heart of forgiveness in Christ!
Keep me walking in the way of righteousness! Don’t let me wander away from You!
Father, I praise Jesus that He never failed to love You with His whole heart, soul, mind, and strength on my behalf and that of all His people.
Even on the cross while suffering the inexpressible anguish, pains, and terrors, He loved You perfectly with all of His being!
What Amazing grace of Jesus! Lord Jesus, You are an amazing Savior! “Hallelujah! What A Savior!”
“Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me! For once I was lost but now I am found, I was blind but now I see.”
Strengthen me, Lord Jesus, by Your Word and Spirit that I may live completely for You!
Cause me to be sold out for You, used up for You, that I may boast only in You!
Strengthen me that I may humbly serve You, love You, follow You, focus on You, obey You, rejoice in You, trust You, and faithfully confess Your holy name!
My Father, bless me and strengthen me to honor and glorify Jesus in all my words and works.
Holy Spirit, lift me up when I sin, discipline me when I drift, and keep me humble when I obey!
I ask this in Jesus’ holy and precious name!
